Half Feather Hackle Plates (often called pinwheels) measure 10x5.5" in diameter and are made with stripped Rooster Hackle Feathers that are glued and arranged on to a half circular piece of fabric. Stripping feathers is a unique process where the quill is stripped approximately 3/4 of its feather, leaving behind beautiful feather tips. Decorative beads are then attached to some of the stripped areas of the quill.
These Feather Hackle Plates are available in a variety of colors and can be cut to any size.
